1. Why Staff Leave
We've all experienced it before, when things seem to be going along so well and all of a sudden you get the dreaded email, with the subject line: "Resignation". I am always a bit offended by this initially, despite logic telling me I shouldn't be. I work so hard to create the right environment to retain staff, why would they ever want to leave?
In this episode, I will talk from my own experience why staff leave (national staff in particular) and what can be done to prevent it (assuming you want to). I will also discuss how we can better use the Exit Interview in order to determine how to create an environment more in line with our values, or "reflective development", which should lead to a decline in turnover.
